WHAT IS WATER BAPTISM?

Water baptism is a symbol of what happened when Jesus died on the cross for our sins and we accepted Him as our Lord and Savior. Galatians 2:20 says it best:

“For I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20 NIV)

So, in a nutshell, baptisms are an outward expression of an inward commitment. We are leaving our old lives, sins, issues, and habits beneath the water. And as we rise above that water, we are living in Christ as He is alive in us!

BAPTISM INFORMATION:

All candidates that register for baptism MUST be 7 years or older.

The dress code for the baptism calls for dark-colored t-shirts and pants. All clothing items for baptism should be baggy and not form-fitting. Also, please bring a change of clothes, flip-flops, a towel will be provided, and a bag for your wet clothes.

Check-in 45 minutes before service at the Info Table in the lobby.
